Communications Officer Louise Johnson began her career in law enforcement communications with the Town of Blackstone Police Department on March 23, 1988. Louise resigned from her position on January 16, 2001 but rejoined the force on May 26, 2003. Louise is a certified Field Training Officer for communications officers and conducts presentations on 911 and the role of the communications officer. Louise also participated in the police departments’ “holiday gift” program.

Communications Officer Barbara Rothgeb began her career in law enforcement communications as a part-time dispatcher here in Blackstone beginning on September 1^st 1979.  Barbara was promoted to a full time position effective June 15^th 1981 until her resignation on March 31^st 1988. Barbara rejoined the force on October 1^st 1996.
